STURRIDGE WRONG WITH FA CUP PREDICTIONS

Perth Glory striker Daniel Sturridge didn't make a correct prediction on the FA Cup clash between Chelsea and Liverpool last weekend after Sadio Mane failed to score during the game. Daniel Sturridge had earlier revealed on his Twitter account that he fancies a Mane goal.

Daniel Sturridge also predicted that Liverpool will have too much quality for Chelsea during the final. Chelsea were able to hold their own as they prevented Senegalese international Mane and his teammates from finding the back of the net in 120 minutes.

Liverpool and Chelsea could not be separated in extra time thus leading to penalties. Liverpool went on to win the FA Cup title this season after emerging victorious during penalty shootout via a 6-5 scoreline. England international Mason Mount was the villain for the Blues after he failed to convert his penalty during sudden death.
Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool players were able to continue their quest to win four major trophies by beating Chelsea to win the FA Cup title. They added the FA Cup title to the Carabao Cup title won earlier in the year by also beating Chelsea on penalties during the Carabao Cup final.
Liverpool are also in the hunt for the Premier League and Champions League titles. They are in the Champions League final where they will face Real Madrid on Saturday, May 28. Liverpool sealed a place in the Champions League final after seeing off Spanish team Villarreal in the semifinals via a 5-2 aggregate win, while Real Madrid beat Premier League champions Manchester City 6-5 on aggregate to book their own place in the Champions League final.
Also, Liverpool are in a Premier League title battle with Manchester City. They trail City by a solitary point ahead of the final day of the season on Sunday.
