STURRIDGE: BOLTON WANDERERS CAREER IN SUMMARY

Daniel Sturridge was a Chelsea loanee when he signed for Bolton Wanderers. The Englishman joined the Trotters in the summer of 2010 on a six-month loan deal. He was part of the Chelsea team that won the 2010 FA Cup in the season before he signed for Bolton Wanderers on loan in January 2011. Daniel Sturridge officially became a player for Boltonon January 31, 2011. He spent six months at the clubbefore returning to West London side Chelsea.

Bolton Wanderers handed Daniel Sturridge his debut two days after his loan deal was confirmed. He came on as a substitute during the home game with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League and he was able to score his first goal for the club in the process. The attacker scored the winning goal in stoppage time to lead Bolton to a win over Wolves in his first game at the club as a Chelsea loanee.

With the help of the goal against Wolves, Daniel Sturridge was able to start his Bolton career on an impressive note. He backed up his injury time winner against Wolverhampton Wanderers with another goal in the following league gameagainst North London side Tottenham Hotspur. Sturridge was given his first start during the defeat to Tottenham Hotspur as he made it two goals in two league games. The Englishman made it three goals in as many games with one of the goals in the 2-0 win over Everton. The Everton clash was his third league game for Bolton Wanderers.
Daniel Sturridge became only the sixth player to score in his fourth successive Premier League game for a club in the division when he scored the equaliseragainst Newcastle United. The Newcastle clash was his fourth league game for new club Bolton Wanderers. In the end, he scored eight goals in 12 appearances for Bolton.
