Sturridge helps Fabianski tie his show lace

Daniel Sturridge has been the most talked after player in Liverpool after Luis Suarez and this time he was seen helping Lukasz Fabianski to tie his shoelace.

This happened in the recent FA Cup match between Arsenal and Liverpool which Arsenal won 2-1. A goal each from Alex Oxlade Chamberlain in the first half and Lucas Podolski in the second half gave the Gunners a 2 goal lead at the Emirates as they were seeking a revenge after the humiliating 5-1 defeat at Anfield from last week.

Steven Gerrard did manage to pull a goal back from the penalty spot but it was not enough for Liverpool as they failed to convert another goal from too many chances which they were able to create. Arsenal completely dominated the game in the first half as they came close to scoring and Mesut Ozil was clinical in his passing. The second half was totally the opposite as Liverpool pressed harder and harder every time for a goal and did manage to win a penalty.

There was a moment of tension in the Arsenal side as they were facing a one goal deficit for the last 18 minutes of the game and the match could have gone either ways had it not been for their organized defense. The introduction of Kieron Gibbs later in the second half strengthened the defense and the Gunners managed to see the game off quite comfortably in the end.

Lukasz Fabianski was seen time wasting when he apparently was trying to tie his shoe lace in the stoppage time and seeing this Daniel Sturridge stepped up to tie the lace for Fabianski. It was nice to see the player’s respect for the opponent team member and then trying to get along with the game. The fans were surprised to see such an act which is a rare sight these days in football.
