MAKING AN IMPACT

Daniel Sturridge failed to make an impact with his former teams: Manchester City, Chelsea and Bolton Wanderers but the tides are turning in his favor when he took a switch over to Liverpool.

Scoring 18 goals in the 23 appearances he has made with the Liverpool jersey. Not only that but also receiving praise from his attacking partner Luis Suarez.

The Uruguayan forward spoke to the media recently and said “Maybe in a few years I will be able to say my best partnership was with Daniel Sturridge, especially if we can continue to progress.

“He is 24 and I am 26 so we are trying our best to progress for the future of the club.

“We know in the last few seasons Liverpool have not been in the Champions League and we know we can help the team challenge for the top four.

“We will try our best but Liverpool is not only Suarez and Sturridge – it is the whole team.”

The latest betting on Unibet makes Suarez and Sturridge the favourites to be the top-scoring partnership, ahead of Rooney and Robin van Persie.

Suarez admitted that he is enjoying life in Liverpool despite all of his previous obstacles and problem with the club in the last few months and most of this is thanks to the partnership he has built with the 24 years old English forward.

The results of this partnership can be seen in the Premier League standings in which Liverpool impress everyone at the start of this season with 17 goals scored and 8 scored against them as they are sitting in a comfortable 2nd place right behind Arsenal who are at the top of the League with 22 points.

They will need to keep that momentum going on if they want to hold their ground against the top teams in England but so far it’s been nothing short than spectacular for the attacking duo.
