Brendan Rodgers gone through Worst Season

This season has been a disastrous one for Liverpool and especially Brendan Rodgers as the coach from Northern Ireland just keeps on getting negative news concerning his players and the results continue disappointing.

Liverpool was able to finish their previous season of the Premier League on a high note as they claimed the 2nd spot and were only 3 points away from winning the English title but things have been the total opposite in this new season as things began to collapse after Luis Suarez was sold to Barcelona.

Luis Suarez was the main goal-scoring machine for Liverpool in the last season but ever since the Uruguayan attacker was sold to Barcelona, Rodgers has not been able to find a solid replacement and the only one that has actually managed to step it up in the absence of Suarez has been Daniel Sturridge but unfortunately for Liverpool and Brendan Rodgers, Sturridge is not expected to play for his club until 2015.

Injuries have seriously plagued Daniel Sturridge as the English forward has only been able to make 3 appearances for Liverpool in this season due to injuries and the latest medical scan that was given to him which was released a few days ago has confirmed that Sturridge is now suffering from a new thigh injury and this injury could be leaving him out of the playing grounds until next year.

"Liverpool Football Club today confirmed scans have revealed Daniel Sturridge has sustained a new thigh injury. The player will remain unavailable for selection but will be monitored and assessed during his recovery." A statement from the official Liverpool said.

If indeed Sturridge is not able to play any matches for Liverpool in the remaining matches of this year, this will put added pressure to Mario Balotelli, Fabio Borini and Rickie Lambert all of which were signed in the summer transfer window but have failed on making any kind of impact at Anfield.
